Insurance and Liability

Insurance information is configured by the Company. No claim that a vehicle is "fully insured" is made without express, verified configuration.

Mandatory insurance

All vehicles are insured in accordance with applicable law and have valid MTPL (RCA) for the rental period.

Included coverage

MTPL (RCA) is included in the rental rate. For vehicles benefiting from CASCO, coverage applies in accordance with the terms and limits of the insurance policy.

Optional coverage

For certain vehicles, additional protection services or packages may be available, depending on the policy terms and vehicle category. Availability and cost are communicated before the reservation is confirmed.

Excess / deductible

The applicable excess is the one provided for in the CASCO policy and may vary depending on the vehicle. The exact excess amount is communicated to the customer before the reservation is confirmed.

Exclusions

Insurance does not cover, within the limits and conditions of the applicable policy, damage caused intentionally, damage caused while driving under the influence of alcohol or prohibited substances, use of the vehicle by unauthorised persons, participation in races or competitions, improper use of the vehicle and other situations excluded in the insurance policy and rental agreement.

Roadside assistance

Roadside assistance is available in the event of a breakdown or immobilisation of the vehicle, in accordance with the conditions of the roadside assistance service and the insurance policy.
